General Terms and Conditions WTOL Academy BV

  1. Registration: Your registration is strictly personal, and your signature signifies agreement with the general terms and conditions. Registrations by email and via the internet also imply agreement with the general terms and conditions.
  2. Liability: Each participant is jointly liable for all costs, even in the case of a corporate registration. After registration, there is a cooling-off period of 14 days during which you can cancel the registration free of charge. This can be done by email or by post. (This does not apply to the E-Learning program once the code has been provided to the participant).
  3. Confirmation of Registration: Each participant will receive a confirmation of registration by email after registration. If you do not receive this confirmation within 48 hours, please contact info @wtol-academy.nl.
  4. Cancellation and Consolidation: WTOL Academy reserves the right, if the number of registrations warrants it, to consolidate, reschedule, or cancel trainings. WTOL Academy has the right to refuse a participant without giving any reason if deemed necessary.
  5. Costs: By registering, the participant commits, jointly, to payment of the entire training fee, regardless of whether the training days are attended in full or in part. All costs incurred by WTOL Academy BV for collecting outstanding payments are the responsibility of the participant.
  6. E-Learning License Duration: The duration of the E-Learning program license is 12 months unless explicitly stated otherwise. After this period, the license automatically expires. The license can be extended for a fee. Please contact us for more information.
  7. Absence: Participant’s absence during the training does not exempt them from the obligation to pay. Absence of the participant does not entitle them to a full or partial refund of the training fee. Trainers/instructors are authorized to deny access to participants who are absent for more than 50%. Denial of access does not entitle them to a full or partial refund of the training fee.
  8. Course Material: The participant will receive the training material on the first day of training. Additional materials may be provided during the course. All materials provided during the training remain the property of WTOL Academy. The participant is not permitted to publicly disclose the material in any way. Please refer to the Copyright Act of 1912 for more information.
  9. Effect of the General Terms and Conditions: The general terms and conditions come into effect when the participant registers for a training. The general terms and conditions end after full payment of the training fee and completion of the training program.
  10. Early Termination/Cancellation by the Participant: Cancellation of a training, education, workshop, excursion, study trip, or examination must be done by registered mail or email.
    – If canceled up to six weeks before the start date, 50% of the costs are due.
    – If canceled up to three weeks before the start date, 75% of the costs are due.
    – If canceled up to two weeks before the start date, 100% of the costs are due.
  11. Rescheduling: If a participant cannot attend a training day, it is possible (if schedules permit) to reschedule the training day to another date and location. The costs for this are borne by the participant. Liability: The participant is always personally responsible for their own rescheduling.
  12. If a participant is unable to attend a training day, it is possible (if schedules allow) to reschedule the training day to another date and location. The costs for this are the responsibility of the participant.
  13. Liability: The participant is always personally liable for their own behavior. When performing tasks, they must take all precautions that apply within normal business operations. WTOL Academy bears no responsibility for any injuries or harm sustained during training.
  14. Exclusion from the Course: If a participant fails to comply with the safety instructions of the trainer(s), they may be denied access to the training.
  15. Other Provisions: If the general terms and conditions do not cover certain situations, both the participant and WTOL Academy will act in fairness and equity.
  16. Examinations: If an examination is associated with a training, the participant declares to be aware of the examination components and the conditions of the examination agency SVH.nl. If a portfolio is part of the examination, the participant is responsible for correctly and completely submitting this portfolio. The examination agency SVH.nl is the final assessor, and no rights can be derived from statements made by the trainer(s).
  17. Complaints: Complaints regarding education and courses should be submitted in writing to the attention of the management, who will handle the complaint.End
