General Terms and Conditions

Tailored for your business

General Terms and Conditions WTOL Academy BV

1. Registration: Your registration is strictly personal, and your signature signifies agreement with the general terms and conditions. Registrations by email and via the internet also imply acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Liability: Each participant is jointly and severally liable for all costs, even in the case of a company registration. After registration, a 14-day cooling-off period applies, during which you can cancel your registration free of charge. This can be done by email or by post. (This does not apply to the E-Learning program once the code has been provided to the participant.)

3. Confirmation of Registration: Each participant will receive a confirmation of registration by email after signing up. If you do not receive this within 48 hours, please contact info@wtol-academy.nl

4. Cancellation and Merging: WTOL Academy reserves the right to merge, reschedule, or cancel training sessions if the number of registrations warrants it. WTOL Academy is entitled to refuse a participant without providing a reason if necessary.

5. Costs: By registering, the participant commits, jointly and severally, to paying the full training fee, regardless of whether the training days are attended in whole or in part. All costs incurred by WTOL Academy BV for collecting overdue payments are the responsibility of the participant.

6. Duration of E-Learning License: The license duration depends on the course and is explicitly stated for each program. After this period, the license automatically expires. The license can be extended for a fee. Please contact us for details.

7. STAP Budget: After enrolling in a training/course/program, the participant will receive a confirmation with further instructions. If the training cannot be completed within the STAP Budget for any reason, the participant remains jointly and severally liable for payment of the full training fee, regardless of attendance. All costs incurred by WTOL Academy BV for collecting overdue payments are the responsibility of the participant.

8. Absence: A participant’s absence during training does not relieve them of the payment obligation. Absence never entitles the participant to a full or partial refund of the training fee. Trainers/instructors may deny access to participants who are absent for more than 50% of the sessions. Denial of access never entitles the participant to a refund.

9. Course Materials: Participants receive training materials on the first day of training. Additional materials may be provided during the course. All materials provided remain the property of WTOL Academy. Participants are not permitted to publish these materials in any way. See the Copyright Act of 1912.

10. Effect of Terms and Conditions: These terms and conditions take effect when the participant registers for a training and end after full payment of the training fee and completion of the training program.

11. Early Termination/Cancellation by Participant: Cancellation of a training, course, workshop, excursion, study trip, or exam must be made in writing by registered mail or email.

  • Cancellation up to six weeks before the start date: 50% of the costs are due.
  • Cancellation up to three weeks before the start date: 75% of the costs are due.
  • Cancellation up to two weeks before the start date: 100% of the costs are due.

12. Rescheduling: If a participant cannot attend a training day, it is possible (subject to scheduling availability) to reschedule to another date and location. The costs for this are borne by the participant.

13. Liability: The participant is always responsible for their own behavior. When performing assignments, they must take all precautions that apply in normal business operations. WTOL Academy accepts no responsibility for injuries or harm sustained during training.

14. Denial of Access: If a participant does not comply with the safety instructions of the trainer(s), they may be denied access to the training.

15. Other Provisions: If these terms and conditions do not cover a situation, both the participant and WTOL Academy will act reasonably and fairly.

16. Exams: If a training includes an exam, the participant declares that they are aware of the exam components and the conditions of the examination board SVH.nl. If a portfolio is part of the exam, the participant is responsible for submitting it correctly and completely. The examination board SVH.nl is the final assessor, and no rights can be derived from statements made by trainers.

17. Complaints: Complaints regarding courses and training must be submitted in writing to the management, which will handle the complaint.

End.
